Liaoning Petrochemical Vocational and Technical College - Supervision and Quality Evaluation Center
The Supervision and Quality Evaluation Center operates under the leadership of the college's Party Committee and administration, fully responsible for the college's teaching supervision, teaching quality monitoring, and evaluation work. The center adheres to the policy of "promoting construction, reform, and management through evaluation, combining evaluation with construction, and focusing on construction" to establish a scientific and comprehensive teaching quality assurance system, dedicated to continuously improving the quality of talent cultivation at the college.
Core Functions
- Teaching Supervision: Organizes a team of teaching supervision experts to conduct routine monitoring and guidance of various teaching aspects, including classroom and practical teaching, through in-depth class observations, teaching patrols, and special inspections. It promptly identifies and provides feedback on issues in teaching operations and proposes improvement recommendations.
- Quality Monitoring: Establishes a quality monitoring mechanism that covers the entire teaching process, including curriculum construction quality, specialty construction quality, and teaching management quality, ensuring strict implementation of teaching standards and stable teaching order.
- Assessment and Evaluation: Responsible for organizing and carrying out various types of teaching evaluations, such as the evaluation of the undergraduate teaching work status of departments, specialty evaluations, and curriculum evaluations. It also organizes diversified quality evaluation activities like student evaluations of teaching, peer evaluations, and teacher evaluations of learning to form objective and comprehensive evaluation results.
- Data and Analysis: Constructs and manages the basic teaching status database, regularly collects, processes, and analyzes teaching status data, compiles and publishes the annual undergraduate teaching quality report, providing data support for the college's teaching reform and scientific decision-making.
- Standards and Regulations: Participates in formulating and improving quality standards and evaluation indicator systems for key teaching links, establishing and perfecting teaching quality management rules and regulations, and promoting the construction of a quality culture.
